A full refund will be considered up until teams have been formed. After team formations have been completed, a pro-rated refund (less association prepaid fees) will be considered if a doctor determines that illness or injury prevents the athlete from continuing to play for the remainder of the season. In this case, a doctor's note must be provided. Any refund is subject to Board approval.
For the 2026 season, Shamrocks' will be tiering the U13 and U15 age divisions. At U13, two competitive teams (tier one) and one house team (tier two) will be created. At U15, one tier one and one tier two team will be created. Evaluations for tier one teams will occur on Tuesday, April 14th (U13: 6-7:30pm, U15: 7:45-9:15pm) at Allard Arena. An evaluation committee has been formed to oversee tier one team formation. Evaluation process will be posted at the arena (and here shortly - experiencing technical errors). If your player cannot attend the evaluation on April 14th and would like to be considered for a tier one team, please email shamrockslacrossemb@gmail.com.
For the 2026 season, friend requests for U7/U9 and U11 will be considered, similar to years past, but with a slight modification. Each player participant will be permitted one friend request, and it must be mutual. For example, player "A" may submit a friend request to be on the same team as player "E", but then player "E" may only submit a friend request to be on the same team as player "A"- a mutual agreement. Friend requests will be accepted during the week of the 4x4 camp; details will be posted at the arena. While we would love to accommodate all friend requests, it may be difficult to do so to meet our mandate of creating evenly matched teams. Each friend request will be considered and we will do our best.
As of February 2025, Shamrocks' teams are not permitted to host a raffle, or any other gaming related activity as a means to generate funds for their team. The Shamrocks Lacrosse organization (the board) may host a licensed raffle to raise funds for the organization to help offset costs for equipment, camps, training, etc. and reserves the exclusive right to do so. Teams wanting to host any kind of fundraiser must obtain approval from Shamrocks Lacrosse (the board).
